Mission Accomplished!!!

Tim successfully completed his tour on schedule with $ 71,857.89 raised for the Childhood Cancer Foundation of Canada and still counting!! Way to go Canada! What's happening now you might ask? Stay up to date on Tim's site for updates regarding the petition to get September proclaimed Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Currently Tim is still waiting for a response from the government of Canada. Things still remain very hopeful!

Raising Awareness and Donations for Childhood Cancer

Tim Harriman is a 19-year-old cancer survivor from Calgary, Alberta. Tim’s goal is to cycle across Canada to raise awareness of childhood cancer and to increase donations towards finding a cure that will put an end to this life threatening disease.

Tim will be raising money for the Childhood Cancer Foundation of Canada, who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with cancer and their families.

Tim will work to raise this money by cycling from one end of the country to the other, through all 10 provinces, visiting many of the 17 children’s hospitals and cancer treatment centers along the way.

Tim’s cycle will begin on June 3, 2007 in Victoria, B.C and will end August 24th in St. John’s N.F., with the trip taking a total of approximately 83 days, 7738 kms, and estimated 412 hrs of riding, Tim needs your support…
